Creating your site
My service for creating your site costs R900. This includes registering your domain name (www.yourname.com) for the first year. See below for the cost of renewing this annually.
Images
You will probably want some attractive images for your site. If you don't have your own photos for this you may be able to find some public domain images. Alternately you may want to budget about $20 for buying some great images from a site like iStockPhoto. See see my tutorial on Finding great images for your website on the Tutorials page for more information on all these options.
Annual costs
Domain name. The cost of registering your domain for the first year is included when I create your site. After that it will cost the following to renew it each year:
Email accounts. Your email accounts are hosted for free with Google.
Website hosting & editing. The service for hosting your site (holding all the files on a server on the Internet) and allowing you to edit the site is free if you allow it to place a small line at the foot of each page saying "Create a free site with...".
If you want to remove this the service costs $3.99 or approximately R30 per month, payable six monthly or annually. If you stop paying this at any point your site will continue with the promotional line appearing at the foot of each page again.

- .net domains - $13.17 or approximately R103 pa
- .org domains - $15.17 or approximately R119 pa
